Producer Reel

This reel showcases my work as a student news producer and is divided into three parts to highlight a range of skills across newscast production:

Part 1: Headlines & Teases (00:0002:04) --- Quick, engaging openers designed to hook the audience and set the tone for the show.

Part 2: RDRs, VOs & VOSOTs (02:0509:11) --- A compilation of scripts and segments that demonstrate writing for anchor reads.

Part 3: Kickers (09:1211:23) --- Lighter, feel-good stories to close out the newscast and leave viewers with a good closure

April 17, 2025 - Produced newscast

Super excited to share a full newscast I produced for Syracuse's CNY Central (WSTM)! I handled everything from building the rundown and writing scripts to working with the team in the control room to get the show on air.

This was such a great experience. I learned a ton about live production, teamwork under pressure, and what it really takes to put together a full show. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen!
